PREQUALIFY NOW Testimonials I love this place. My Weimaraner has a bit of separation anxiety, but he always walks into this place very happy. They saved my day a few times by being able to take my pup in last minute. Prices are also very fair. Staff is always super friendly and committed. I highly recommend this place. — Andy B, Riverside, CA I can’t say enough about Better K9, they have gone above and beyond for my dogs, and they absolutely love being there and are treated so well. If you are looking for a place for your dogs to interact with other dogs and or boarding, this is the place! Thank you Better K9 so much! – Sherrel F., Corona, CA Better K9 takes excellent care of my dog. I wouldn’t consider taking him anywhere else for daycare or overnight care. The staff is awesome! – Diane M., Corona, CA My dog is a new boy! I adopted him at about 1 from a city shelter and he had never level the backyard prior to being surrendered to the city. He had no understanding of a collar or leash. We are now 7 months out since he completed his 21-day training stay and he continues to be as good as the day he came home! Wonderful job! – Mayra S., Corona, CA Our dog LOVES Better K9! Amazing staff! The trainers are life savers with teaching us to manage our very hyper and stubborn puppy! Everyone is so friendly, patient, and kind! There is never a worry with leaving him for daycare or boarding! All we can say is THANK YOU! – T. G., Riverside, CA Better K9 has been a life saver. My 4-yr old dog has been going since she was 5 months and we can’t say “daycare” or she goes crazy! When she was a puppy she was too much for my 85-yr-old-mom so it was a necessity. After she did the 3 week board and train she was fine at home but loves it so much she still goes several times a week. Now our new puppy is going to do the three week training. The staff is amazing and I know they take exceptional care of my fur babies! – Teri S., Corona, CA Vanilla and CeCe were very happy puppies after visiting you! I think they are bored with me as I’m definitely not as much fun as Better K9 Pet Resort! I look forward to visiting you again! Woof, Woof, and many thanks! – Judy H., Vanilla, and CeeCe We highly recommend Better K9! The staff is always very helpful and informative!  – Gail G. I appreciated the report card for my dog when I took him for a first time day care day. I like that they took the time to do a thorough observation of his four hours there. They seemed very caring and professional. I would schedule another play day in the future. – Lisa T. Jack is an amazing trainer. He taught me efficient ways to train my puppies. I am extremely satisfied. – Tracy F. Absolutely love this place. Excellent, patient Trainers. My Basset Hound puppy is now a joy to walk. Effective training for dogs and owner, alike. My puppy also attends their Daycare facility and loves every minute. So glad I found this place! – Becky P. What should you ask before booking a board and train in Corona?

Ask about overnight staffing, whether owner visits are allowed, how many dogs each trainer handles, which methods and tools are used, whether handoff sessions are included, and what happens if your dog is not a fit mid-program. Clear answers matter more than a polished sales page.

Why do dogs regress after board and train?

Regression after board and train is the most common complaint because skills learned in a training kennel do not automatically transfer to your home. Plan for owner coaching, structured handoff sessions, and a realistic homework plan. See our methodology for how we evaluate program transparency.
