Cindy Franks

As a child, I grew up with dogs: cocker, rough collie, dachshund, and poodle.  They weren't really trained; just pets that lived outside.  During a time of a serious family medical event, my sister bought a German shepherd puppy from the SPCA.  He was the guardian of our home during my father's illness and then death.  When he was 7 years old, my mother remarried and didn't want Roscoe.  I took him where he went from backyard dog to condo dog.  He was intact and aggressive so we started obedience classes.  That started my lifetime of training, trialing, and loving my 4-footed children.  I realized that I didn't want to just do 1 sport or venue so with the rescue of my 1st Australian Shepherd, Callie, I joined not just AKC but ASCA.  Together we learned and trialed in obedience, agility and stock.  The pattern has continued as I now have my 4th Aussie and my 2nd Sheltie.
Courtney Moore (Seminar presenter)
Courtney Moore started training dogs as soon as she could walk. She put a CD obedience title on her toy Poodle, Mikey when she was 7 years old and convinced her mom, Debbie to start agility training after watching it in Houston. Before they knew it they were traveling all over Texas showing in agility and both mom and then daughter became AKC agility judges. Courtney is a very popular AKC, UKI & USDAA Agility Judge. She stays busy training & showing agility in 3 venues with her Border collie, Sahweet and world Champion Borderpap, Butter. She is a popular seminar presenter for Alamo Dog Obedience Club. Courtney has a passion to help agility exhibitors improve their connection with their dogs.
