About Diablo K9 Academy

Based on what the business publishes about itself

Diablo K9 Academy offers individualized dog training at a facility the business identifies as being in Danville, despite its mailing or map address displaying Pleasanton. The core training format is one-on-one instruction, with programs customized around the owner's goals and the dog's temperament. Private sessions can address potty training, basic obedience, aggression, unreliable recall, and other behavior concerns.

Owners looking for a more immersive option can choose a two-, four-, or six-week board-and-train program, during which the dog stays with the trainer and receives several lessons each day. Group classes are listed but are not currently being offered, with the business instead providing referrals.

Diablo K9 describes its methodology as balanced training with an emphasis on positive rewards and results. Trainers teach owners how to use commands, rewards, and training equipment so they can continue the work after lessons. The business also offers weekday boarding and twice-weekly daycare. Daycare dogs are grouped according to size and activity level, while social boarding dogs may receive playtime with compatible dogs. Vaccination records and advance reservations are required for certain services.
