Based on what the business publishes about itself
WESSMADE K9 is a Los Angeles dog-training business with head trainer Josh Grant identified on its pricing page. The website emphasizes customized training based on each dog's temperament, age, breed, behavior, and the owner's goals. Its stated focus includes obedience, behavior modification, protection, working-dog preparation, and developing clearer communication between dogs and their handlers. The supplied pages do not publish Josh Grant's professional certifications, education, or length of training experience.
Training is offered through Board and Train, Private Lessons, In-Home Training, and an initial Consultation. Board and Train ranges from a one-week refresher for existing clients to a five-week program covering advanced on-leash and off-leash obedience, behavior modification, and working-dog preparation. Private Lessons take place at the WESSMADE K9 Training Facility, while In-Home Training brings Josh to the client's residence. Multi-session Private Lessons packages are available for clients seeking ongoing instruction and handler development.
The website does not identify the training system as balanced or force-free and does not publish specific training tools. Instead, it emphasizes structure, consistency, customized programming, leadership, trust, respect, and owner communication. The site currently states that WESSMADE K9 is under construction and directs visitors to contact the business by email, while several secondary pages contain generic placeholder material. For that reason, the pricing and main dog-training page provide the clearest evidence for current services.
WESSMADE K9 offers Board and Train at one, three, and five weeks, plus facility-based Private Lessons, Private Lessons packages, and In-Home Training. New clients must first complete a paid Consultation and evaluation. Training may address obedience, behavior modification, socialization, handler skills, and working-dog preparation. Protection is advertised as a training focus, but no separate protection package is published.
WESSMADE K9 publishes 3 versions of this program. The table shows how they differ; anything not listed here was not stated in their materials.
